FLACS 2023 Strategic Plan. Vision: Connecting Chemistry Enthusiasts to Empower and Enrich the Community. Mission: To empower the local community through networking, education, and outreach in the chemical sciences. Goals & Strategies: Goal 1: Increase volunteer participation through education about roles available, support structures, and opportunities within subsections. Goal 2: By December 2025, increase the engagement of members through targeted networking opportunities and community outreach. Goal 3: Establish outreach opportunities for the general public in partnership with local communities, K-12, industry, and non-profit/local government.

In June of 2023, the executive committee and members of FL-ACS met for a weekend retreat to devise a current 5 year strategic plan. We are very excited about our ideas to make FL-ACS more engaged with our members and to improve our main event FAME. To achieve our new goals, we are seeking volunteers.
