• Helping set up meeting rooms (projectors and screens)
• Helping take down meeting rooms
• Registration Desk Duties during 2-hour shifts between Friday and Sunday

I am a first-year graduate student at the University of Florida in Rebecca Butcher's lab. This volunteer scholarship would allow me to focus on the research being presented and connecting with other scientists. As a young researcher, I believe conferences are vital to build skills early in my career that will be vital as I progress through my education. Further, this opportunity would allow me to engage with other early-career scientists whose diverse backgrounds and knowledge could only be beneficial to my success as a scientist and as a person.
